UMA’s outstanding Bachelor of Arts in Art and Associate of Arts in Art programs immerse you in a wide range of studio classes including design, ceramics, painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and sculpture, complemented by explorations in art history: a firm basis for success in the many varied careers related to artistic expression.
The associate degree includes a Computer Imaging track, the B.A. is an innovative offering in collaboration with the University of Maine at Farmington. A UMA degree is an attainable first step toward a career as an elementary or secondary art teacher, arts administrator, commercial or exhibiting artist.
