The American Democracy Project

The American Democracy Project (ADP) is a national initiative of the AASCU that seeks to increase the civic involvement of students enrolled in state colleges and universities.  It's also a major component in fulfilling UMA's civic engagement mission.  We became an official member of the American Democracy Project in August of 2007.

9/17: Professor M.L. Davitt leads a breakfast discussion of the 1st Amendment; "The Constitution Movie" plays all day in the STC Lounge Constitution Week

9/18: TimesTalk discussion in Huskins Lounge; Dr. Jon Schlenker presents the "Declaration of Academic Interdependence".   : TimesTalk

9/19: Dean Jon Henry leads a lunchtime discussion; Sarah Walton holds a forum on "Student Rights Under the First Amendment": Constitution Week

9/20: TimesTalk discussion in STC Lounge, Augusta; Tom Tomberline holds a forum on "Search and Seizure"; Constitution Trivia from 9-3; Kids Night From 5-7: TimesTalk

9/21: Kids' Night Constitution Party, 6:30 Huskins Lounge: Constitution Week
