Campus Community Connections Committee

An outgrowth of the very successful UMA 40th Anniversary Committee, the Campus Community Connections Committee (CCCC) was established by UMA’s President to:

Enhance campus and community relationships;
Collaborate with and support missions of other departments on campus;
Focus on identity and quality of life on campus;
Weave strong community connections through collaborative initiatives; and
Act as liaison between on and off campus populations.

Specifically, the goals of the CCCC are as follows:

Alumni – reconnect with graduates to foster alumni relationships and events
Archiving – develop an archiving system to preserve UMA’s history
Continue to create contacts in the community
Promote service activities on and off campus
Promote/develop/organize campus beautification projects
Participate in community affairs
Act as a resource for community engagement
Increase engagement of UMA’s Senior College
Explore and advocate for campus opportunities
