Campus Community Connections Committee
An outgrowth of the very successful UMA 40th Anniversary Committee, the Campus Community Connections Committee (CCCC) was established by UMA’s President to:
- Enhance campus and community relationships;
- Collaborate with and support missions of other departments on campus;
- Focus on identity and quality of life on campus;
- Weave strong community connections through collaborative initiatives; and
- Act as liaison between on and off campus populations.
Specifically, the goals of the CCCC are as follows:
- Alumni – reconnect with graduates to foster alumni relationships and events
- Archiving – develop an archiving system to preserve UMA’s history
- Continue to create contacts in the community
- Promote service activities on and off campus
- Promote/develop/organize campus beautification projects
- Participate in community affairs
- Act as a resource for community engagement
- Increase engagement of UMA’s Senior College
- Explore and advocate for campus opportunities
