Challenge Exams
Challenge Examination is available to students who are enrolled in UMA degree programs. Challenge Exams are defined and prepared by UMA faculty.
NOTE: UMA Challenge Exams are only recognized by The University of Maine at Augusta. Credits cannot be transferred to other institutions.
The following challenge options are available:
- CHY 105/106 Chemistry-for-Biology
- HUS 101 Intro to Social Service
- HUS 212 Case Management
- MAT 030 Algebra I
- POS Course Series
- Get an informational handout and challenge exam registration form from the Augusta Campus or your local UMS Center.
- Send to the Academic and Career Advising Center (46 University Drive, Augusta, Maine 04330):
- A completed registration form (#1-11)
- A check payable to UMA for $55 per exam
- A non-refundable service fee (check) payable to UMA for $15 per exam.
- A request for a map if you need directions to the testing location.
