Generating Career Ideas

Interpret the results of an interest inventory (the Strong Interest Inventory) to generate career options. Inventory must be received back at UMA at least 3 weeks prior to the workshop date. Inventory fee: UMA students free; Community members $20. Add $2 for home mailing.

Putting Your Personality to Work

Prior Learning Assessment at UMA

This workshop provides students and community members with an overview of Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) at UMA. PLA is a way to demonstrate knowledge and expertise in a particular field in order to place into college courses, or earn college credit. Portfolio assessment and credit by examination will be covered. Free for students and community members.
