Statewide, Nationally and Globally
Since the mid-1980’s UMA has led the state in distance education delivery beginning with ITV programming to as many as 100 locations statewide. Today UMA continues its leadership in Maine by providing the greatest number of degree programs available entirely through distance learning. In addition, students can complete core requirements for most UMA majors though distance learning options. In addition, the following UMA academic degrees are available entirely at a distance in Maine.
