Course delivery: The program courses are delivered via distance education and consist of pre-recorded lecture/discussions on videotape and a course WEBsite. Syllabi, textbooks, and manuals may be purchased through the UMA Bookstore. Students are expected to view the videos, sign onto the course WEBsite, and complete the assignments on a schedule posted by the instructor. A computer bulletin board is used for communicating between students and instructors. There is also a toll free telephone number to each of the instructors for students to talk directly to their instructors.
This distance education option includes national and international delivery via asynchronous technologies – computer, e-mail account, and access to Internet required. By special exception, students pay in-state tuition for all courses with an LIB prefix.
