Part-Time Faculty Vacancies
The University of Maine at Augusta is interested in expanding its pool of qualified part-time instructors. Teaching opportunities may be available at the UMA campus in Augusta, University College of Bangor campus, and at off-campus centers. UMA is seeking applications from individuals interested in part-time teaching assignments for the following disciplines or areas of study:
- Sociology
- Biological Sciences
- Chemistry
- Art (MFA required)
- English
Requirements: to be eligible for part-time teaching opportunities, the individual must have an appropriate master’s degree in the discipline. Previous college teaching experience is preferred.
Interested individuals should submit a letter of interest along with a current resume, college transcripts, and the names, addresses, and daytime phone numbers of three professional references. The letter of interest must indicate:
- the discipline in which you are interested
- the campus location for which you are available
- the days of week/times of day you are available
