As a friend of the University of Maine at Augusta, one of the most important things you can do to support our institution is join the Advocacy Network of the University of Maine System.  

The purpose of the Network is to build and sustain strong support for Maine’s public universities among policy-makers and the public as a whole.

By using collective resources and relationships, the Advocacy Network promotes the value of Maine’s public universities to the educational, economic, and cultural well-being of our state and its residents.  

Joining this grass-roots effort is free. As a member, you will receive regular updates via e-mail regarding university-related news, legislation, and key events. In addition, you'll be invited to attend regionally based social events and receptions with policy-makers, university leaders, and special guests.
